about
Simply put, what I desire to do is photograph the people I hold dear and immerse myself in places and cultures with which I am unfamiliar.

"The ordinary" stuff of life is what makes my soul move around--my interest is grabbed by the everyday occurrences that are more overlooked than appreciated. I'm not a portrait photographer, per se, but I find the work that satisfies me always has to do with people somehow. Life is about relationships (take that as broadly or narrowly as you'd like), and the interplay of love and hate and push and pull and calm and tumult and sorrow and joy is what makes it all worth it. This is constant. This is the journey.

I think in books. I think in chunks. I think in little units that convey something. I rarely know what that something is but I know it is there and it is that something that will keep me moving for as long as I am around to move.

I've always floated around.
